Increasing the Leverage on a Lee Classic Cast press
Interesting thread on increasing the leverage on a Lee Classic Cast press, especially for swaging.

Anyone with the skills and equipment out there willing to do the conversion for me?
Obviously I supply the press and cover cost of extra parts.

Re: Increasing the Lverage on a Lee Classic Cast press
I just skimmed it, is this just a matter of re-positioning the pivot pins in the lever arms?
They would need to be aligned perfectly to prevent the press binding but that is no hardship/

Do I need the press or will just the arms suffice? I am thinking of postage.

I've often thought the way to go with home swaging would be down the hydraulic road using something like a small car jack as a basis.

Re: Increasing the Leverage on a Lee Classic Cast press
I've seen set ups like that done but they have just been for one of jobs or small runs.
The beauty of getting an existing press to do it is its then relatively easy to set the dies up in it and production is quicker with only one pull per stage.
You know how it goes, the more you make them the more you shoot them.
Guns remind me of an advert I had the misfortune to see on a TV once where there was a child shouting "feed me".
