Vernier Gauge Micrometer

Started my rifle reloading last night and dragged out my old micrometer. Its not something I use every often and I find it a bit difficult to use. Thinking it might save me a lot of aggro if I buy a digital guage; can anyone point me at a suitable model?

TIA

I use a Mitutoyo every day of my life however they are pricey, recently my Mother sent me two 'Powerfix' digital verniers, they are not as smooth as the Mitutoyo but they were (from memory) GBP7.50 each from Lidles. Has to be worth a look. Also I think Spud was selling some cheap verniers a few weeks ago, he may still have one left over.

The Lidl ones are apparently really good for the price!! (That was from an engineer not a reloader!)

I got mine from Screwfix as it was 80% off!!

The Lidle ones felt a bit coarse to use for the first couple of times but soon smoothed out. I checked mine against a set of Mitutoyo slips and they were spot on.

Try these guys, bought from them in the past with no issues.

I had one of their 6" digital models for about 5 years and its a good-a-day unit.
Not as nice as a mitutoyo but adequate for reloading.

Chronos and RDG tools are always good for such things.

A 5% discount code for RDG is 12769

Thank you Spud but I think I do want a digital just to take the guess work out of it...and the squinting!
