Dangermouse, as one of the Fungunners I will answer your question. The wind was its normal malignant and evil force fishtailing down the range. I would like to say I was the only one who mastered it, but one of the others might read this post. 'Challenging' is probably the best way of describing it.
Well done John for organising it. I mean the shoot not the wind!

From astern, left right but no more than a minute and a half change for the 7mm leaving the barrel at 3200, and fairly steady.

In all a fairly straightforward afternoon (apart from my snipers nose, must do something about my position) although I did get two magpies (bad shots)and fahsinz of inners (can't read the wind)

It blew the 308's about a bit but the other Fungunners seemed to cope ok. The marker, an ex work colleague, Andy, was brilliant.

You all missed a great afternoon because, despite my gloom earlier, the sun shone and burned the back of my neck!

Fungunners again enjoyed a splendid shoot (well I did) four good reasons to open the bar!

I will be booking a 100x (yes 100) on Thursday 31st May (just before the Phoenix) If they don't close it for set up that is.

Mike,

Nothing booked yet, got distracted cleaning my gun and cases from yesterday.

Hope to have an answer later this afternoon.

John,

I'll give the 1000x a miss, I was hoping to try out the AR15 I have coming next week - It is only good out to 600x really, so hopefully next time.
