RUAG Brass

I've just been given a couple of hundred once fired RUAG cases - what are they like?
Worth the effort to reload or scrap?
There are some RG ones in there too I've just noticed.

In general it is good brass. If it has all been once through the same rifle (that isn't too sloppy) then certainly worth reloading.

RUAG brass is fine, my mate is reloading using it and getting good results.

I am just starting to use it as well, being quite honest I cannot see a huge difference between it and Lapua quality wise, quite how it will last remains to be seen.
Just a thought, I would not jump straight in with a previous known load as the volume of the case might be different so I would suggest you do a H2O capacity check with a few of the old case and then the RUAG.

Just sat in the shed doing that now! (they are identical to my remmington brass)
The cases look to be in good condition, all the way from Norway!!
Hopefully I will be able to get some more next month when he goes back out there shooting. (He has mentioned bucket fulls!)

I have reloaded my once-fired RUAG seven times now and they are as good as when I started. Bucketfulls - lucky you!

Going price is a minimum of 10p each.
John25 sells them cleaned resized and ready to go as a service on his website.
