For the fourth time in five weeks I have tried to buy supplies from the Range Office shop and for the fourth time I have left empty-handed. National Shooting Centre? don't make me laugh!
I won't be bothering any more.

Picked up 100 rounds of GGG 7.62 from the office last week - with no drama at all.

I wanted to buy several things (powder, primers etc) but we never get past the first hurdle...nothing exotic just 155gn SMK (2156). Picking the whole order up on Wednesday from elsewhere, but it seems very odd that something so simple can't be supplied by the national organisation.

The NRA were talking about how to attract more people and doing something with the shop was suggested however I have no idea what happened then as I have not seen anyone from the NRA here in ages, nor have my PM's been replied to.

Unfortunately, mate. That's the problem, they aint. :bad:

I'm guessing nothing has come from that other thread, about "can we have suggestions about how to improve the NRA and bring in new people etc"

In fairness to Karen I think she's still in South Africa with the GBRT. Give her time!

Could be very wrong, I did not think Karen had anything to do with the NRA shop?
As in implementing improvements?

Chrystel

You are right, Karen does not deal with the shop.

Fred James is still the NRA 'armourer' and orders stuff. He has a limited budget and strict guidelines. Karen's old man will be taking up office in the armoury on return from SA.

Meantime I suggest you all email the acting CEO with your complaints. He is making all the decisions.
