As I am sure most of you have noticed the forum has been down today, at least 6 hours that I am aware of. I have been offered the usual explanation of "maintenance" and after that it was "we are working on it". I suspect they were under attack.
Apologies for the down time.
Looks like we are back :shakeshout:

livechat has just informed that it was indeed a DDOS.
Dear Customers.
We are facing DDOS on our shared server gateshead.eukhosting.net. Our senior admins are looking into it.
We will keep you updated on this.

I logged on before leaving work just after 6 this morning, everything was fine. Got up at 12:30 with someone chirping in my ear that "The Forum" wouldn't load. Quick check on Downforeveryone and I knew it wasn't us.

I think it was from about 8 ish in the morning to 14.00 ish that they had the problem.
Weird how it has become part of our everyday life here in this house and when it won't load it just feels like something is missing...

Could be the forum is not quite stable yet, maybe your cookies playing up?
