I found my reload data for .284 Targets transferred perfectly to the .284 Hybrids if that helps any, also they prefer to jump in .284 and I would expect the same for the 155.5 Hybrids.

I would still say drop down a bit and work back up to be safe.

Will do so

Found the same safe charge in Lapau brass popped primers in RWS :o

Could be the hotter temps too

So will be dropping a 0.2 even 0.4 grains forthwith in RWS cases

You were loosing primers or piercing them? Did you check the H2o weight to confirm case volume?

They were coming loose
Nope have to check H2o volume
Ironically
Total weights within 1grain but I reckon volume must be smaller
Lesson learnt :-P

Not with Hybrids, they seem to work better for me with a jump unlike the VLD's which work either jammed or with a big jump.

That seems to be the consensus, and indeed the point of them - near VLD performance with seating depth tolerance. Most reports seem to indicate that anywhere between 0.010" and 0.020", even 0.030" jump works just as well, and with no need to chase throat erosion or worry about unloading, why touch or jam for no benefit? Of course, if your barrel tells you differently then that's the best voice to listen to.

This is why I started with Targets and moved to Hybrids with my 7mm SAUM wildcat, the loss of BC was marginal for Target v VLD and improved with the Hybrids plus I did not have the worry of extended testing with the VLD's at the expense of barrel life. It was interesting to note that my load data for Targets worked perfectly for the Hybrids according to my ladder tests. The Hybrids with a slightly higher BC require less elevation and my bullet pointing means another elevation gain.
