1 For 1 variation back.

After nearly 4 weeks, I got my FAC back after requesting several 1 for 1's.
I got everything I asked for and a few things I didn't! :shakeshout:
So I can start my .25 project. I can go ahead and convert my Ishapore to 45ACP and I can acquire that extra 300 rounds of 8x56R that I've found.
On the plus side, these things I didn't ask for but got - was authorisation for the 22CF for vermin and ground game and bizarrely they authorised the 45 for vermin, fox and deer! :shock:
I don't know where they got that from, but I suspect it's something to with the fact I'm converting the Ishapore (which had that authority) to 45 ACP.
Even though I asked for my .30 ammunition to be reduced to just what I was holding (as I won't be needing to produce any more) they kept the levels the same. They also refused to remove to authorisation for fox and vermin I have for my 9mm, even though I said I didn't need it - so I'll not ask again!
On the downside, I don't have authority to obtain ammunition or to shoot the .25 rifle - acquire yes, shoot no! They forgot to list it with the additional conditions and forgot to add the .25 ammunition. It's not a big deal, as I'll sort when I pick up the mauser action next month.
All in all I'm very happy with the result and the 4 week wait (and FLO visit) doesn't bother me - maybe a lotto ticket is in order?
