New turners in the centre, new and extra drainage (Target Shotgunners will be pleased) but will the busted clays provide a decent surface and are the plastic wads going to upset the tree huggers?

Gaz,

Yes, on the left, ten targets out to 50m. Been there a few years.

Now, in response to a request from the CNC, twenty (I think) frames in the centre of the range back to a (nominal) 50m.

The plan, I believe, is to put pea shingle lateral pathways as firing points at the standard distances. with a 'fore and aft' pathway down the centre.

:good:

The 'photo was taken at 1630 today.

What target are you on tomorrow? I'll try and pop down for a gossip.

Ah, didn't spot that you were around today else I'd have mentioned I was there this afternoon.

The new surface seems like a good idea for using up what would otherwise be waste material ... not so sure about the thousands of plastic wads littering the area by the target sheds, though.

Sorry, so busy packing and throwing away accumulated 'stuff' I forgot the time and the end of play hooter came as a surprise.

Plan is that in a couple of weeks I shall be completely 'retired' and pulling triggers regularly.
