There is an 800/1000/1200 day Saturday 17th, is anyone going?

A good turn out but raining. I managed to get a sentry post so I am under cover at least for the next hour or so. Result!

I have never shot at Barton Road so I guess I have to put it on my bucket list?

Went the day well?

It is a very nice range John, we only shoot at 800/1000/1200 after a HME zero for those that need it.

Rain and not the warmest of weather meant we lost a few during the day and I was the only one to move out to 1200 yards on our newly built F Class targets. I was shooting the S&L again and sadly failed to finish on a V bull. It looked close to me through my 12X and my spotter, a very pleasant and talkative TR shooter who reported that the marker was crossing between the black and white when viewed through his spotting scope. Sadly it was just outside by an inch according to the butts.

Bugger.

Double bugger.
