I have this old scope , supposedly they are an artillery item , its mounted in PH windage adjustable rings , but how can the elevation be adjusted ? Any one know anything about these .

As far as I know the No53 Mk1 has fixed elevation as the mount it was used in was used for this purpose, the No53 Mk1 has some common parts with the No32 Mk1 so they tend to get snapped up and pulled apart for spares.
