Minutes of angle - .223 from 100m zero to 300yard target

Would I be correct in thinking that my projectile estimated at somewhere around 2900fps, SMK 69gr, which has been bore sighted to 100m approximately that the correct elevation increase would be around 4 minutes - quicktarget says around 16 clicks at 1/4MOA clicks.

I'm thinking thats got to be enough to get me on the target board?

Then from 300 yards to 600 yards it reckons an additional 49 clicks of elevation - 12.25 MOA

From anyones real world experience with .223, do these numbers seem about right, I havent even got these values commited to memory for .308, but they seem very similar in comparison...

Any advice at this stage would be helpful :)

Thanks in advance :)

Rather than commit to memory do what I do & write it all down. (it is a requirement of age!)
Unfortunately I'm sitting in the lounge at CDG airport & my shooting notebook is in the Highlands.

Yeah, I have it written down for .308, but I'm not sure how much difference there is between the two projectiles.

a wind chart would'nt go a miss if anyone has one for .223 too...

I think I should be in the black with those from the berger calc.

slight discrepancy, but within 2 MOA, so the sighters should see me correct :)
