I forgot to get shell holder and auto-primer holder for .223!! Doh!!

I've just sat down to reload and I can't get any further than trimming as I don't have any holders! Anyone else ever done anything similar?

You mean like lying down on the range and realizing that the bolt for your rifle is an hours drive away on the mantle piece? Never happened to me

Got on the firing point last week switched on the holosight no aiming mark I had to guess which wasnt very succesfull, that was followed by an hour away from the range in search of a new battery.
Looks like whilst testing the sight the night before I may just have left it switched on doh.

I am so glad I joined this forum to meet lots of sensible people like myself who have never done anything like this or got to a shoot with an ammo box of .22 ammo and a .243 rifle . Bit loose in the breach !!

A word of warning tho and honestly this wasn't me , three rounds of .38 fired and went thro a .44 and the guy only stopped when next case slid into breach and disappeared because this case had a slightly smaller or warn rim . This happened when the wrong one of two identical rifles collected from rack . suffice to say one has a very noticeable ribbon on it now .
