Wondering what conditions the police have put against you FAC shotguns and slug.Just got mine added to the ticket and it came with the condition(A9) which reads 'The shotgun shall be used for vermin control on any land over which the certificate holder has permission to shoot for this purpose with this class of firearm.'.Now i asked for vermin/target/practical which to me is not covered by the above, phoned them up and she insisted that A9 does cover it all.
Now the slug did not come with any conditions at all again she said they don't condition shotgun ammo even one that requires a FAC.
So what have you lot got on your ticket...........thanks.

Surrey:
7 The SECTION 1 SHOTGUN (I have two) AND SOLID SLUG AMMUNITION shall be used for PRACTICAL TARGET SHOOTING ON RANGES suitable for the safe use of that class of firearm and with adequate financial arrangements in place to meet any injury or damage claim, or OVER A COURSE OF FIRE approved by a qualified member of the UKPSA on land over which the holder has lawful authority to shoot.
8 The 12 BORE SECTION 1 SHOTGUN may also be used for clay pigeon shooting.

The same but with a separate condition for slug along the lines of " slug shall only be used for practical shotgun completion over a course appeoved by a qualified member of UKPSA" But as there is no definition of a 'qualified' member of UKPSA any full time member can approve any course of fire

This is the sort of thing i was expecting along the lines of my .44/.22 rifles.

When I had permission for 410 slug, it was for target shooting only - condition stated on the FAC. No way or how was Grampian approving it for fox and vermin control, regardingless of the fact or figures I provided. :cool2:
However, I used the same arguements and reasoning for my 9mm Largo and it worked! :G

You can have the UKPSA conditions removed if you ask nicely, especially if you shoot NRA Target Shotgun.

John, took me long enough to get the "Must be stored in the NRA armoury when not in use" condition.
I'll save this one for the next variation, having a UKPSA comp. license! I consider myself competent to 'approve' the NRA target shotgun course of fire, just as I would argue that a military Range Officers qualification would.
Surrey now has a new FEO who I haven't met so I'll find out at next variation.
