Experiment time

I'm finally getting to go shooting this afternoon - first time since the Europeans!!

However, it's more like an experiment than practice. The NRASC is doing running boar on Time Limit range and I'm going to see if I can hit it - let alone a bull - with my LBP fingerscrossed

Apparently running boar used to be shot with pistols so I thought this might be a good idea. Not taking any bets on score!!

You need a surprising amount of lead, when I was at the Danish championships last year the running boar was shot at 75m and you needed to aim at the snout to get in the kill zone, it was made harder by the fact it was moving quickly and the scoring/kill zone was not visible. The scoring rings are very subtle so you need to be right in front of the target to see them. It was best shot on the lowest possible magnification.

Enjoy!
