Anodising in the shed

I am going to start anodising my parts in house from the end of this week, mostly green or black, I am sure it will be interesting.

Has anyone else tried anodising stuff instead of shipping it off to be done?

EDIT!!! I am going to start anodising aluminium parts that are in no way attached to my person :lol:
