#1 Post by phaedra1106 »

LEE Loadmaster Progressive Press - 1 Week Old

Full Factory set-up - includes dies and shell plate etc. for .44 Special/Mag

Lee Press Info Here, http://leeprecision....essive-presses/

Kit Info Here, http://leeprecision....44-special.html

Also includes extras, Case Collator, Bullet Feed Kit with 2 sets of Fingers for .44, Primer Shield

All that's needed to convert to different calibre is a shell plate and (if needed) a small primer feed.

This has been used to produce 120 rounds, very small wear mark on paint where case tube holder was rubbing before I adjusted it properly but otherwise as new.

Kranks price for pistol kit version without the extras £288

Looking for £200 ovno including the extras and shipping (UK mainland only or will get costs)

Will be sent in original Lee boxes.

Why are you selling it if you have only had it one week.

If you see my post here, http://www.full-bore.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=6420 you'll see I'm just not happy with the way it works, mainly due to me not having had a progressive press before and Lee's instructions not being the best, after watching some of the videos on Youtube I went over it again setting it up as shown and ran 50 rounds through without a problem.

I did another 20 this morning and realised that at times I wasn't fully pushing the lever all the way and not fully seating primers or remembering to make sure the primer feed tube is full.

As I said it's me rather than the press, I'm certain the press is fine but I'm so used to the simplicity of the turret press and have decided that if I do go progressive I would be happier with the Hornady LNL AP, I may of course be completely wrong and if I get one I may end up selling that as well!.
