Hi All

Ok - I will firm up the details and see what booking I can arrange.

PM - Attendance list
Please PM you attendance and I will update the list
The numbers do impact the planning and the costs - so be realistic.
Everyone will be expected to "assist" to run / SO keep scores etc - we spread the work and ensure all of fun!

GUESTS / FRIENDS
I will also see what Insurance arrangements are required for guests - heck bring the missus / other half!
Great time for young adults - colleagues - we have the members to introduce them to a most amazing and interesting hobby!

EXTRA IDEAS
Please add some ideas to the pot.... I would want to maximise the event for all and showcase the functionality and value of Bisley!
The ideal is events that allow maximum participation for the maximum number of people

SCHEDULE
I also believe that should someone have travelled all the way to Bisley that we maximise the fun party2
I will draft a rough schedule - presuming a focus of key group fun activities on the SAT afternoon and SUN morning
This will allow those that have to travel back and forth some "slack" time and not miss the main events

Thus we can have SAT morning and SUN pm as flexible / alternates events. :0037:

EXTRA's
1. CHRONO
One proposal I would have is that we set up a chrono on Siberia - so that you could get "figures" for you load xyz :-)

SAT Evening
We could arrange a meal at the Old Sergeants Mess and maybe some form of lecture
Some ideas :-P
* Reloading
* Wind reading
* Plotting
* Maintenance tips and tricks
* Ballistic printouts

We will have a wealth of knowledge there - lets use it!

Go on, call it the fool shoot :p

Sounds very interesting, and I'd love to have a bash, unfortunately my .22lr black rifle probably wouldnt hit a barn door at 300yards, and I don't have a "service rifle" - although I am on the lookout for a nice .223 (Rem 700 modified or a savage arms) dunno where they'd fit in though...

The format of the shoot sounds right up my alley though!

Frist problem is that you are not allowed to shoot prone at 100 yards on Century.

I don't have a'black thing' but, if you are a member of either, NRA, UKPSA, CITY RC I have a SMLE, No. 4, No. 5. Your own factory ammo please.

PM me (I may draw the line if there are hundreds for the number four, it has a new (1946) barrell and only fired about 200 rds.)

Does LERA membership count, John? I've got a SMLE but wouldn't mind using the No.5.

To get to play that weekend, I may need to book a few days off in the week - so I'll confirm after I've buttered up the boss next week...

...but please pencil me in for WW1, open and scoped fingerscrossed

If 100 yrds is a problem, you could do 2 different courses of fire at 200 or 300? (would be easier on the logistics...)
