Once a month or so, I take the guns out of the cabnets and give them a wee rub down and clean whether they've been shot or not. For me, gun ownership is also about the pleasure derived from ownership, as well as the shooting and loading. This, by the way, is something I do when the Mrs has taken the kids out. She eroniously refers to it as "Daddy's Time"! :-P

So, when giving them a wipe over, I took some very quick and very poor pics as one of the formites wants to see where/how the rod on the Uberti LBR is fitted. Why not share the lot....



The muzzle loaders. From the top, left to right. Pedersoli .44 Rogers and Spencer, a phenominally accurate B/P revolver.

Next is an unknown make 1851 Navy converted to nitro with a little "cartridge conversion" look as it has a loading gate and a rudimentary ejector rod for the spent shotgun primers. The grips look a little too "white" in the pic as they are more yellow, being genuine elephant ivory!

Then there is an air cartridge revolver of the Uberti 1875 Remington pursuation.

Two Uberti .44 Cattlemen with a 7.5" and 4.75" barrels.

Lastly, an Uberti 1861 Navy in .36 with shoulder stock.



Two LBR's. One Uberti Cattleman Buntine in .45 Colt, chopped to 12" and a rod fitted to take it to 24" OAL. And then the gun that's probably getting the most shooting at the minute, a Taurus 980 in .22lr.



An RPA multishot Interceptor in 7mm-08. Warne rings, Leupold Vari-X III 6.5-20x40LR

A Savage 12BVSS in .223 again with Warne rings, Leupold Vari-X III 6.5-20x40LR, EGW rail, Stockade Tactical extended bolt handle. Bell & Carlson stock and dura-coated.

A Volquartson Superlite, with VQ Competition bolt, VQ TG2000 trigger group, Adams and Bennet 14" heavy match barrel, Cooey brake in a Boyd stock.



Benelli Practical, 9+1, Burris Fastfire dot.

GSG5 (The Fantasist!) UMP stock, Hogue slip grip, extended mag catch, Leupold Prismatic, 4 rail forend, UTG Low Pro Alu fore grip.

Ruger Mini 14 BAO. Extended bolt handle, Mo-rod, ATI stock, Warne rings and base. Bushnell Tactical Elite is away for repair.....



Hatsan Escort 20ga. Actually the youth model. S.2.

Miroku MK38 Millenium.

Armi San Marco, sxs, non ej, hammer gun. 24.1" barrels, 40.5" OAL...... right on the cusp!!



The Marlins!

Model 1894 in .32-20. Manufactured in 1894.
Model 1893 in .32 Win Spl. Manufactured in 1896.
Model 1897 in .22lr. Manufactured in 1899.
Model 39 Octagon in .22lr. Manufactured for one year in 1973, only around 2000 ever made.
Model 336 Octagon in .30-30. Again also manufactured for one year in 1973, only around 2000 ever made.
Model 1894 Limited Cowboy in .32 H&R magnum. Made in 2003 for what is reported in Marlin collector circles as a total of only 650 ever made.
And last is an 1894P, in .44 magnum. 16" factory ported barrel. XS irons and Scout rail. Leupold Scout Scope and a load of internal tweaking and stuff......

Very nice collection! I especially like the Marlins. I'd like to find one of the recent but discontinued .32-20 Marlin levers to go with my Colt army special in .32-20. I have several levers at the present time too:

Rossi 92 .44 magnum 20" barrel and Rossi 92 .357 16" barrel. I got the .357 when I lived in Colorado Springs CO and carried it when hiking in the front range of the Rockies. A very handy little carbine.

I missed the .32H&R magnum Marlin the first time I looked at your collection. That is the one I really want!! It is very nice. Congratulations on a very nice collection overall. I've read about the Marlin .32 H&R but never have seen one. I'm in the process right now of loading up a bunch of .32H&R for my Ruger SSM revolver. I've thought that the Marlin would go perfectly with the Ruger but as I wrote, I've never seen one for sale.
I really like the .32H&R cartridge. It is accurate, low recoil and cheap to reload

Boy, I've thought about this for a couple of hours now......

The one that pips everything else would be the Marlin 1894P in .44 mag. But only just......

I couldn't believe it when I came across it in the UK! I was called a few names by some of them in the Marlin Collectors Assoc. But that said, I wasn't even looking for anything this "modern". I was looking for an 1894 in either .25-20 or .38-40, well I still am, but they are rare beasts in Jolly 'Ole.

The .32 mag is a lovely cartridge as you say. But, as the gun came with a couple of hundred .32 Long cases I've given them a go as well. Stoked with Green Dot and a 95gn lead bullet....... Oh man, absolutely no recoil and it'll place a bullet on top of the other one at 25yds.

If able to, I'd go with an S&W mod 16 to partner this........
