Mauser 420B... Niiiiiice ......
I have a Mauser45 which is the post-war, made for the French army version with a peep hole rear sight of your 420B (mine is wrongly fitted with a dioptre) - I love it but it is not as nice or has the charm of an original 420B

How do you access this site , all I can see is 3 photos and 2 posters , there doesnt seem to be anything else to click on ,

you have to click on "photo archives" 1,2, 3, 4, 5 & 6 where you have pictures of the various modells of KKw and period advertising. There are some very sexy ones ...

Thanks froggy , its a bit strange but underneath the smiley with the rifle to the left of the text is blank screen but thats where the clicky is only found it when the cursor changed from arrow to finger .

Interestingly this M45 was manufactured at Obendorf, one of approximately 6000 produced for the occupying French forces bearing the Mauser banner.
Sorry Froggy but i have first dibbs on it if it comes up for sale.




His M 45 rear sight has been drilled out and fitted with a Parker Hale aperture, not kosher but very handy
if your eyesight isn't what it used to be.

Nice rifles, I like the idea of the PH Aperture, has the sight hole been tapped to accept it?

The 1st post-war Mauser45 only bears the Mauser logo I think it was mono shot only (??), then this one, then Fab Mas+ Mauser logo +MAS45 . A very clean exemple

And the 420 is beauty...
