Hi,

These have been discussed in a number of different threads and seemed quite desirable. Came across this today.

I had a Wamadet for a long time. Lived in a small flat so it was easy to hide away under the stairs and get out when I wanted to knock up a few hundred rounds. Very strong and reliable; wished I still had it.

Should come with a wooden base about two foot by one.

I can recommend them wholeheartedly. I've spent the best part of the holidays handloading on one of mine that I have as part of my handloading set up in Scotland.

The Lubing/sizing set up isn't the best but interesting all the same. Uses standard Lyman/RCBS "G" "H" & "I" dies.

Good basic press. My mate swears by his. He especially likes the fact that the press/dies are lowered down onto the base as you pull the lever - the dies come to a definate stop.

They are slow though. You'll need to buy another press; a progressive press to speed up and it lacks the interchangability of some other brands.

Personally i'd spend a little more and buy a decent multi-turret press. You don't need to use the full potential; the multi turret ability until you're ready.

Glad to know parts are available again.
I found one with some odd bits a couple of years back for a very good price.
At least now I know I have the Slube set up as well, if only I had instructions as well...
Very handy bit of kit, beside me now.
I well remember the adverts for them and the safety cord in Guns Review

Hi All,

For info', I have just put a WAMADET up for sale in the 'shooting-related' section.

Cheers.
