Are these legal to be set up in your garden ? http://www.airgunspares.com/store/produ ... ank-Firer/ If I ran a couple of trip wires along the back fence and theres no chance of anyone getting blasted by the blank firing I assume its above board to do so .
Has any one ever done it ?

They have been advertised for as long as I can remember. In today society, if there was a hint of illegality then they would have been banned/withdrawn.

I cant see why they would be illegal-they only emit noise.

Common sesnse say that if any victim was injured then they should not have been there..Sadly common sense died a long time ago...

Maybe there should be a "contributory" clause in law the way they have in negligence claims...Y'know, if some twerp gets caught up in your razor wire and blleds out then there are "contributory factors" as to WHY..Like "WHY was he there in the first place", not "WHY were you trying to protect your property with the stuff in the first place"!.

The ones seen @ Shooting Shows - Only allow Short power Blanks
and designed that it fires into Ground

Aware a few with Large Grounds who use them

Do remember hearing about one of my club Members who had them fitted
Got reported - when foxes kept tripping them off in early hours of morning

Moved them out of Fox Entry area - still disturbed a few unwelcome visitors

Seen that Europe allows - marker paint ball Alarm Guns -
would be interesting ;)
