What do you wear to shoot in winter?

Today, we enjoyed the company of Adam (Dromia) and Joe at our 600 yard classic military rifle shoot at Diggle.
The temperature for most of the day was about one degree above freezing. Occasionally it rained or snowed.
I usually wear a 'Buffalo' type top, lined trousers and LaCrosse boots and this is warm enough most of the year but today, I needed something better.
I'm looking for a warm coat, doesn't need to be 100% waterproof but 'showerproof' would be nice. I don't want to look like a compost heap - so no Realtree/Mossyoak stuff but I like drab green and I like that material that looks and feels like suede.
It needs to be longish so when shooting prone it doesn't ride up over your bum. A hood is not essential.
Within reason, price no object - any suggestions?
I know Dangermouse drew our attention to a Deerhunter sale but it just seemed to be shirts and tops.
Thanks
Vince

I wear a SwedeTeam suit. Brown in colour and with a soft suede feel to it. Plenty pockets etc.witness a base and mid layer on last weekend I was too hot!
I would recommend it but if starting from scratch again I'd go for a Gore Tex Harikla suit for added rain resistance.
Both available from Bushwear in Perth who I was told have now got a tie in with Cabelas.

I wear a Deerhunter jacket and trousers, they are both green with lighter greeny grey panels, the jacket has that suede feel to it and the trousers are a smoother finish. The jacket I picked up in Denmark and the trousers at a Phoenix meeting 2-3 years ago. Both are excellent and neither were unduly expensive. They are also both waterproof or as close as I need and I have lain in puddles on cold January mornings at the firing point and come home dry. Highly recommended
If things get really bleak I have a US ECWS goretex jacket which I can bung over the top of everything, it is guaranteed to keep me dry in any weather and adds another layer. The bad thing about wearing so many layers is getting a decent position behind the rifle and I was smacked on the bridge of my nose once by a 'scope when I though the rifle was in my shoulder and it wasn't... Just a bit too much free recoil
At the bottom of this I wear a pair of Belleville boots which are just right for summer and winter.

I do put on some HH thermals if it gets very cold, usually such things are only used on the motorbike.

Snugpak. Then an unlined Gortex coat, both together will keep you warm and dry and you can use either individually or worn as "one".
Layers are the secret to comfort in the cold....

Hmmm let's see, beach shorts, T shirt and flip flops...we're tough up here in Jockland...oh and some well chilled orange juice for during the shoot, ice cold beer and ice cream at the pub afterwards.
I think 25pdr misses out the t shirt, but he's younger than me..
