Magazine Identification.

#1 Post by bobbob »

After some help please.

A chap at our club brought a magazine up tonight to see if we knew what it was from. Any ideas?

It's about 2 1/2" by 1 1/4".

Thanks.

Looks to possibly be for a .22 Hornet of some type

Given the construction method, I'd guess at one of the cheaper mass produced American makes

Looks like it could be for a Mossberg 42M.

There should be a long threaded screw that screws into the hole at the bottom and comes out flush with the elipical hole at the front of the follower for loading .22" Shorts as well as .22LR.

I have a 42M somewhere I'll find it and check against the photographs.
