6.5X55 Swedish Mauser CG63 - rare model

#1 Post by targetman »

Through lack of use and my fading eyesight I have decided to sell my Swedish Mauser CG63 Target Rifle. This is a very rare model with the extra removable oversized forend fitted.

These rifles were used to great effect by the Frivilliga Skytterorelsen (Swedish Volunteer Shooting Association) and their logo is stamped on the left hand side of the forend. It is fitted with the very good ELIT target sights front and rear, the front uses a ring insert.

This is a lovely rifle in a very accurate calibre. Sadly I can no longer use it as I cannot fit a lens in the rearsight and shooting wearing glasses just does not work for me.

I am asking £450 for it and will include a set of reloading dies if wanted.

Now that is a real bargain for a tack driving rifle with an interesting not commonly seen addition.

Including dies and ammunition - someone buy it before I'm tempted, I've got two in the collection already though.
