Variation

Hi all
Put my variation in on 14th Sept for a one for one and still waiting, The FEO contacted me 2 weeks ago and I thought good it will be here in a matter of days, I contacted them today and the Inspector isnt in all week so it cannot be signed off. They blamed the summer holidays?. Its rather annoying as even the rest took around 2months each. I feel like complaining but what good would that do if anything it might upset them!!
I wouldnt have been bothered but I have recently stuck in 3 one for ones over the last 6 months and all you would think they would have to do was a check to see if i had been a bad boy!! as they would have already seen I was a paid up club member, and had already spoke with the club sec etc, and if anything had happened at the club the Police would have been informed as a matter of course?
Appreciate it might not be as easy as this?, but one would think that any FEO would have tried to and get rid of the easier variations asap??
just a thought , rant over

polite phone calls to both the FEO and the main office? just to keep you fresh in their minds, repeat as necessary.

So why don't you? I really don't know why shooters refuse to complain when they believe the service they recieve is below par. Honestly, if you have a problem with you dept, then tell them. Tell them why you're disappointed and what they can do to rectify the situation. Do it in writing, it will be taken seriously.

I am always surprised when I read that people get a visit from an FEO for a variation. I have never had a visit in over 40 years of having an FAC, apart from at renewal, and I make several variations every year.
I wonder if it is just different areas that have different requirements.

Surrey, two variations in the past two months.

First, eight days with apology email because they had staff on holiday.

Second, return of post.

No visit.

 to Surrey and  to the nice lady who emailed me
