I will be looking to re load for the 9mm sooner than later and have started researching powders, I have found a lot of support for Hodgdon Titegroup & Clays, does anyone know if it is on sale in the UK?

I use titegroup for my 9mm Largo rounds and for my 7.62 subsonics. Clays should be available as well.

It's been a while since I bought some, but I think prices are about the £40-45 a tub.

I have just been working my way through a Googgle search for UK sites that mention the above and have found a couple of hits for FB-UK and you discussing sub sonic rounds with Ovenpaa.
Your flag confuses me, are you in the UK?

Funny to see the cost, the US Forums are talking under $15 a tub - I guess it lasts a lot longer than my .308 powder.

I'm just poor Sandgroper (Western Australian) in self imposed exile in the UK, hence the flag.

I like titegroup, it does what it says on the tin and a little does go a long way.

I originally bought it for the subsonics, but then moved on to pistol calibre rounds. It helps to keep the amount of different powders to a minimum.

I'd prefer Viht 3N37 or 340

Both good points, but like I said titegroup is a dual purpose powder for me and Hodgdon provides specific loads for subsonic ammunition using titegroup.

The idea of not re loading is very appealing as I do not like the thought of having to get ready for a Gallery Action Weekend.
Unfortunately I live next to the NSC and apart from one shop on camp that I rarely enter it is a bit barren round here for supplies. Both the other shops that I could name are basically in London although they have Surrey addresses, and I am loath to go into town as it is more hassle than it is worth.

I already have 2 tubs or Viht on the shelf for my .308, I like the product but would like something that physically looks different for these rounds so that I should never lift the wrong tub by mistake.
However, do you have experience with Hodgdon Titegroup or Clays and feel that the Viht is better?

It doesn't have to be a chore to reload GR ammunition. Whenever possible I just use lee dippers to measure the powder and more often than not the results are excellent.

Ammozone in Hertfordshire are £19.50 per 100 but I have seen cheaper. Enquiries ongoing, I'll get back to you.
