The results are just starting to creep in now. First link I went to was the 500 yards individuals, the 'Presidents' day one where the top seven competitors scored a perfect 50.010 - impressive shooting

Provisional results are here and show Sam Hunter of GB taking fourth place with an impressive 298.028

Well done to Aussie forum members Bobped for seventh in the F Class standard A and Southcape took an excellent second in the F Class standard B. Well done Linda. Rod Davies took an impressive third in the F Open as well.
:goodjob:
I will be watching the next two weeks with interest.

In truth, the 500x target in Oz is very generous and so that many 50.10v's is not really that unusual, given the quality of shooters participating. (The 500x and 600x targets are identical).

Their results service is brilliant - results for yesterday were on website before Iain got back from range!
I am ashamed to say its better than ours

(although they do have a lot less results to post)
Bill can we automate ours better so they pop straight onto the website?
Two days off for us individuals now so off to somewhere hot and beachy with seafood and Chardonnay - don't hate me too much
Love

I have to say that I am offended. Results for the Imperial were being posted within a "reasonable" time of the result being known in most events and usually the same period for the event being completed, i.e. lunchtime/end of day.
As you point out, there is a little difference with the Imperial, since we have 1000+ cards to process for each event.
Next year the production of the Web prize list and the hard copy WILL be simultaneous for all Schools, TR and F-Class events (fingers crossed) and so the result may well be on the web before it is posted on the notice board. MR will have to wait a little longer, because stats are remote from an internet connection for that.

It has been great to be able to put faces to names.
Looking forward to meeting many more tomorrow.
The weather forecast is not going to be kind. With rain forecast for the next 2 days.

It is great to see a good mix of countries at the top for the first few days. Looking forward to seeing how everyone goes in the Queens Prize over the next few days.

Probably but as I'm the one who is mainly responsible for the website results I'm sure Bill knows I'm not being critical.
We have over 360 prize lists to put on website twice (once as provisional and once as final). Its a BIG job and luckily Stats got much more involved this year and did a very good job. However not all prize lists come from the squadding system and many are typed up manually which is why some take a lot longer than others.
The timings also means that someone has to come in around 6.30 - 7pm to upload the results which if you start at 7am is a bit of a buggeration. I've also been in my office at 10.30pm uploading Second Wednesdays results as you have to wait for the Queens I result to be announced at Bisley General Meeting.
Its not an easy job and anything that can make it more efficient and less time-consuming would be brilliant

Oops... Quite right! (Sorry Robert!!!)
As for how fabulous the NRAA wasn't about the Australia match results... Pah! Having trailed that they would be doing updates throughout the match, it was very disappointing to see it not functioning.
GBRT Twitter feed has been the only place for any result, partway or at the end of the match that I have been able to find.
Mind you... Nice to see that GB pulled out a really good win by the sounds of things.
