AMT 10 22
Are AMT .22 10 22 clones any good?
Re: AMT 10 22
I've never used one myself but word is they were one of AMTs better products so far as reliability goes, and build quality is good as typical of AMT (they are known for hit and miss reliability). The 25/22, as they called it, has a stainless receiver (long before Ruger made their own), shipped with Choate or Butler Creek stocks and will take most 10/22 parts and accessories (including magazines - the Eaton ones they shipped with are as rare as the rifles themselves). Barrels are not interchangeable however so you are stuck with the two options AMT offered.
They stopped making them after not very long because Ruger sued them.

Re: AMT 10 22
I wouldnt class it as a clone , more as a custom built better than a Ruger 19/22 rifle .
