I know the Guntrader website was mentioned on here recently. Has anyone on here seen the problems mentioned in the article?

This is old news. Guntrader was hacked back in 2021 and data stuck up on the Dark Web. The owners faced a number of lawsuits regarding Data Protection legislation. Guntrader liquidated and re-emerged as Guntrader 2

I've not heard of anyone suffering any consequences as a result of the breach.

guntrader has changed the site recently and it was rumoured it had been hacked again .
This would be the 3rd time that i know of that security had been breached
RFD holding their registers on the site (why would you ?) are having issues updating and using the imfo for adverts ..

Hmm. Really? Three times?
Once could be forgiven as unfortunate. Twice would seem like carelessness. Thrice ... incompetence!
In theory, this is just the sort of thing the Information Commissioner's Office should be examining and, in some cases, bringing before the courts for fines.
But, as with most British independent and government departments these days, they're pretty much useless.

"The Commissioner is responsible for enforcing the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and offering advice and assistance to both the council and the individuals or groups whose information is being held. The Commissioner will then look to see if any breach of Regulation has occurred. He will advise on whether compliance with Regulation was likely or whether it was possible a breach has occurred."

Been getting spam on my PC since GT was hacked. Never had it in my life before. I looked on this site and my guntrader email is there.
