proteus wrote: Sun Apr 21, 2024 1:13 pm I'm probably amongst those who count in the get enough posts to use buy and sell, I've probably posted once or twice otherwise. Generally everything I've wanted to ask can be found and I don't really have anything to add on other threads. The forum doesn't really lend itself to posting in the same way as FB, I rarely look in here as a result unless it's something I think I'm likely to find an answer on here.

My suggestion would be to just charge everyone a couple of quid for access to the buy and sell and use that to pay for the forum or archive it for reference.
probably a contribution of the decline, whenever anyone posts anything that has anything to do with a previous post,it gets deleted and ranted at for posting in the wrong place or it's already been brought up....we used to have some good old long threads on here, but sadly no longer.

Hope this does not close. As has already been stated, we cannot have new members being ranted at for posting in the wrong place or not looking up things first. This is a recipe for new members just voting with their feet and going to another forum.
