Any one got an email and address for them.

Can't find it on their web site(s) all it seems to have is those stupid contact forms. I need to send them a notification of a transfer.

Tried the BASC site but as usual with them no help there.

That is what I found and used.

Got this automated reply

"This an automated reply from Firearms Licensing Essex.
Thank you for your email, which will be dealt with as soon as possible.

If you are notifying us of an acquisition or disposal of a weapon - you may accept this as an acknowledgement of receipt - there is no requirement to send a further copy by post.

If you need to contact the Firearms Licensing Department tel: 01245 452768 "

Done my bit and had it confirmed.

That's the standard response to an online communication from Hants & IOW constab, as well.

Aye 'tis the standard automated reply from most if not all certification departments.

'Tis proof that I have done my duty.

Notified Durham on the sale of a rifle using their .pnn address, got the standard reply as above.

Rang me 4 days later about the 1 for 1 variation I sent in, asking what firearm I'd sold and where it went??

Had to re-send the email to their non-pnn address and wait until they checked they'd got it this time.
Didn't get a reply from them for that email though?

Aye British police at their in competent best, no wonder they keep loosing track of firearms.

The .pnn address was the only one I could find, if they change addresses without telling people what can they expect.

The whole country is fecked beyond redemption.

Sent another email to the non-PNN one this afternoon for a firearm purchase, no reply to that one either!

Think I'll re-send it to the PNN one with a nice note attached :)
