If anyone has one of these classic rifles they may be aware that some parts are very scarce. One of the parts that seems to fail, particularly on the .357, is the ejector. We have one as a club rifle and at our last range day it let us down. We had a spare ejector but no spring and these seem to be like hens teeth - So, after making a jig and a bit of practice, trying 5 different thicknesses, in .002" increments of spring steel wire, I've been able to produce usable springs.
The rifle is all back together and used this morning and I'm pleased to say, all working well.
