OK I'm about to start reloading my (new) .223 after a gun change.
I've previously used BLC (2) but have a few cans of various Vitavouri powder that I would like to try (to use them up!)
Anyone used Vit powder behind a 53 or 55 grn bullet in .223??
Thanks D

VIT130 or 133 tends to work well with the lighter bullets in 223

As always the starting point should be the powder manufacturers pressure tested data.

Vt133 is excellent with the lighter bullets. I use it for 50 grain and 55 grain bullets
If using heavy bullets vt140 is very good.
Cheers

There has always been loads for n140 in the manual.
The 133 was especially developed for the .223 according to the manual.
I have never used 140 with the lighter bullets as the 133 just works perfectly in the lighter stuff.
To me the lighter stuff needs the quicker powder
