Hello,

I am moving from PCP to rimfire for 25 yard indoor prone target shooting... and have some old stocks that were custom made for me... any idea if thw 1913 action will fit in a 9015 stock?

Thanks....

I've never tried with those two actions, but generally speaking, air rifle stock inlets and rimfire stock inlets are usually very different so I would be surprised if they matched.

As Bill Says, fairly sure you would need to do a lot of work to get an Anschutz single shot rimfire to fit a 9015 stock. On the other hand many of the 54 and 64 actions will have interchangeable stocks.

Dont know what PCP is but I am guesing its something to do with air rifles and you are trying to shoe horn a .22 rimfire into it.

PCP air rifles/pistols... Almost all modern precision target airguns are now Pre-charged Pneumatic (PCP). They have an onboard air cylinder where air is stored at very high pressure, usually up to around 250bar (3,600 psi). This pressure is usually regulated down to 80-90bar to give a steady usable and consistent air supply for around 200 or so shots.

All these quality airguns are extremely accurate, sophisticated and certainly not cheap, think £2-4,000.

Here's the Anschutz range, similar offerings from Walther, FWB, etc. are available.

I've just come across a pic of the 9015 action and it looks very different to the 1913 action. I doubt there will be any compatability due to the shape and size of the action block on the 9015, although the trigger height to the barrel centre line is similar so all of the grip/cheek piece geometry is likely to be not far off but I don't see an easy way to add any missing material to the mating surfaces on the stock/action.
