Hopefully this is in the right part of the forum, if not could a moderator put it in the correct location.
Does anyone know what calibre this rimfire brass is, for comparison it is next to a 223.

Thanks

Sam

Thanks very much for identifying it for me, not something I have ever seen before and the farmer that asked me to find out found it in a cupboard in his mums house when she died. He said in his lifetime on the farm (60+) years they only ever had shotgunsl

Cheers

Sam

The 9mm garden gun is a shotgun, used for shooting rats and suchlike.

Had one many moons ago and I can assure you it was useless for rats. It was originally made as a garden gun for shooting (more like scaring) birds in orchards, as the shot was so useless it didn't harm the fruit. lol

So - The 9mm rimfire shotgun was referred to as the No 3 garden gun. The also useless .22 shotshell was referred to as the No1 Garden gun. Has anyone come across a No 2 Garden gun?

I have a brass 7mm shot cartridge that was used in a walking cane shotgun but it's centrefire - Any thoughts?
