Grand power X Trim

Looking for a bit of guidance on the X Trim please :D

I’m currently experiencing light strikes, and after thorough examination and reading previous threads on this forum, I’ve reached the point where I would like to try a new hammer spring.

Unfortunately, the routes suggested i.e Caledonian, Cotswoldclassicarms, and even the Grand Power factory direct have drawn a blank. Does anybody know of anyone holding stock of these springs (I’d like to hold a spare recoil spring and firing pin as well if they’re available)

Secondly, can anyone advise as to how to identify if the pistol is Gen 1 or Gen 2. Some of the accessories require that you specify which Gen the pistol is, and I can’t see any obvious way to distinguish this.

thankssign

If you're on Facebook i'd recommend joining the UKPSA handgun page, there's still a ton of people using the GP competitively so they must be getting their parts from somewhere. Also on Facebook M9 Engineering would no doubt be able to make you something, if they don't already.

Mark Derbyshire is generally the go-to guy for K22 these days, too.
If he doesn't have one, he'll know where to get one.

I had the same problem for a few years. Eventually sourced new hammer springs from Canada(!)

It took a little convincing, but the team at theammosource.com eventually sent them over.

My K-22 has been flawless since.

It's a weakness with this firearm. I currently have a couple of hammer springs and a firing pin on order from Oto (though it hasn't arrived yet) - he also still has a fair few different parts in stock. Blue Field Sports also emailed me back the other day saying that they expected to have some back in stock soon and that could reserve one for me (though at that point I'd already ordered from Oto).
