OK enough of Alpha1s pen "works of art"???? proselytizing.

If and when Wales Dave starts fund raising Alpha1 will donate that is established and further discussions to that aim can be taken off forum.

If you want to talk pens then there is the Grumpy old Man forum or even better I am sure there must be dedicated pen assembly forums to oooh and aaah on.

Those GoM are the same people you post with on the other forums here and try and flog your pens to.

Your pen assembly proselytising isn't appropriate for the other forums its only place on here is in GoM or Non shooting related For Sale forum. Take it or leave it.

Dave.

Now that we hopefully have gone past Alpha1's self centered pen promotion spam attacks can we get back to the important issue under discussion here.

Wales Dave's ongoing situation, illness can put all other things into a perspective of meaninglessness.

Come on Dromy , be reasonable .
Alfa only posted about the pens because I suggested he donate one for Daves fighting fund .

And his reply was yes . Good for him !

If there is going to be some form of raffle , I will donate something towards it .

Now lets see how many other offers Dave gets .

Aye good for him especially after he spent his initial time on the thread damning Wales Dave's posts.

Good he has promised a donation, if required but no need to use it as a blatant excuse to flog his wares. If this was the first time he was promoting his pen assembly products it wouldn't be so bad but the forums are now littered with his pen flogging activities.

These are off topic in the extreme and should be put in the appropriate forum and not littering the shooting forums.

If the time comes and Wales Dave needs to fundraise then we will talk with him about how the forum could help in that regard.

I am sure that some of our members will come forward as usual exhibiting their generosity, and without such a song and dance as Alpha1 makes to flog his pens.

This thread is about Wales Dave and his current shooting related issues, it is not about pens and their assemblers pockets and egos! This is first and foremost a gun owning and shooting forum.

Well said Dromia, we all have 1 thing in common and that is shooting, and we should be supporting other members instead of being condescending about their questions or predicament.
Over the years I have been grateful for advice from various members answering my questions which may have seemed trivial but to me were important,Adam being a wealth of knowledge has kept me right on numerous occasions
