A reply to John G's TR post earlier today reminded me of this article.

Rod Shehan is a TR and F Class shooter from the land down under and makes up half of Woody Engineering that makes lots of interesting things including what I would argue is the best action in the world. The INCH Delta.

The INCH action derives it's name from it's designers, the late Laurie Ingram and Robert Chombart whose design capabilities stem back to the days of George Swenson and even before. The article is well worth a read as are the previous articles which include Bryan Litz as celeb shooter.

The impact Ingram and Chombart have on shooting is considerable and if you are not aware of the history of these guys it is well worth a Google.

Robert Chombart (usually posts as RGC) is a very interesting person to talk to, and one of the smartest people I have ever met.

I would love to met Robert Chombart, maybe one day.

Yes, welcome to the forum, we have both followed the INCH since RC and Laurie first mentioned it, Christel has also told me she *needs* one so I guess it will happen at some point :)
