We are calling it a day

Had a good experience with a gun shop or rifle maker? Found a good deal? Tell us about it. Had a bad experience, TELL THE GUN SHOP!

Forum rules
Posting of negative comments in the Gunshop section could bring unwanted criticism on the forum, having said that it is important to let members know if dealings with a Gunshop were less than ideal for you. To that end we will allow what will be known as the 'Scotsgun Ruling'

The Scotsgun Ruling:

>Add Gun Shop here<

"As I've yet to have a 'positive' experience there, I'll refrain from commenting further."

Beyond that please take it up with the Gunshop, if you do resolve the issue in a agreeable manner let us know!

This rule applies to the entire forum.

That’s a real shame! It was only far too short a time ago that you both embarked on the venture. All the best!
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

Guns dont kill people. Dads with pretty Daughters do...!

Being forced into something by events outwith your control can have unexpected benefits as well as offering new thresholds to cross.

Seeing as how UK gun ownership and shooting is now on its last teetering legs it is timely to get out of it rather than to be sucked into and smothered by its death throws.

Shooting's loss is sailings gain.

Poultry, for fecks sake, hens are foul.

Go for ducks, at least you can have a relationship with a duck.

Sorry to read about your eye issues. Hope things improve dramatically.
Retirement is awesome. I gave up 'proper' work at forty-eight. No regrets.
Enjoy.

Well as the Shootings Sheds first official customer (I think) it's a great pity, all the best for the future

Best wishes

All ways found your posts a fascinating read. Hope your eye picks up soon. I had something very similar, but fortunately in my left eye. I have some idea of the discomfort you must be suffering.
