Hello
Would really really like to see that, just too far, wouldn't it be something to see/hear it in the flesh so to speak.
Have you seen it on youtube where they cut a tree in half "WOW" They should really tour the country with one at all acceptable ranges

Hope fully the media bloke at the nra will film it.
I plan on going but will predict it will be heaving.
I went a couple of years back when fultons had theirs firing.
I will see if I can post some pics from that.
Will be a one off event I think. LERA had one many years back where you could get to fire one for a charitable fee.

I'm only 20 mins down the road from Bisley, so I will definitely go.

As said, I expect it will be heaving.

We don't expect it will be heaving.
Come out and support us.
It's taken alot of planning and work.
Hopefully it will be a great event.

My old Grandad was in at the formation of the MGC. He was wounded at Ypres in 1914 while serving with the Royal Sussex - after convalescing he joined the new MGC - wounded again and gassed at the Battle of Arras in 1917. Lived on until he was about 75.

I'm on range ossifer duties on Century in the morning and plan to hang about to see this. I remember being on Butt Zero when there was just one being fired a few years back, hearing that steady(ish) rhythm and thinking to myself that's a Vickers, went and looked and it was. I'm impressed that there are at least 16 working ones in the country.

I would love to see this demonstration but 160 miles each way is just a bit too far to travel just for that.
