Does anyone have any nifty ideas for storing long barrel pistols/revolvers in a full size gun safe? I was thinking about a wooden shelf at the top held in place with strong magnets, but I am wondering if there are any better, less bodged, solutions.

I have a fabric, velcro based holster stuck to the inside of the door with the good 3M self adhesive velcro, plus a couple of magazine pouches velcro'd to the back wall for things like moderator and slides.
I think the holster was by 5.11, designed to velcro into their bags.

I have the same problem with my Buckmark carbine - I've 3D printed these.

Now thats a good plan. And I am guessing they are magnets screwed into them? I have access to a 3D printer too.

I went with the bodged option...
small coat hooks pop-riveted to the side of the cabinet.

There's a lot to be said for pop rivets - I have a stack of them.

Yes, Silverline magnets at around £1 each - stick very well.

I have mine in an old holster which is bolted to the back of the door (its a vault style door and you can take the back panel off pretty easily to drill the required holes).

They are an awkward shape, I bought some gun socks to cover them & I just put them barrel down in the cabinet, seems to work fine.
