Pedersoli Remington rolling block front sight

#1 Post by Paul101 »

I’m thinking of changing the front sight to a Lyman 20MJT globe as it’s a larger front tunnel , due to breaking off the spring retaining clip on the Pedersoli front sight, .

Has anyone done this or similar
Thank you

I changed to the Pedersoli tunnel sight with the screw in collar on my sharps 45-70, it seems to be much better than the spring you mentioned, can’t think why Pedersoli even sell that as it’s a poor design.

I bought the Pedersoli tunnel sight with the threaded elements holder. It fitted easy and the finish is very good with a great selection of sight elements, but is a small fraction taller, but that can be adjusted for, when I zero at the end of the month.
I think I might invest in a soule sight later this year😉
