I had them send me a stock direct a few years ago. all free.

here is the exploded diag

part 44 is the tube retention screw, undo that and tube should slide out the front.

Took the screw out and the tube won't budge.

It does rotate slightly but it does that with the screw in as well!

Can't remove the forend as they changed it from the earlier H002 model, there's now a cross piece drifted into the barrel for the forend barrel band to screw into.

I've tried knocking it out but no movement

On the H002 once you removed the band the forend simply slid out.

No, it's a threaded hole where the barrel band goes over and screws into.

Looking at the exploded diagram it shows 2 holes in the trigger guard plate,

A larger one for #47 Trigger guard plate screw

2 #44 Outer Mag tube ret. screw

Mine only has the one hole for the trigger plate screw.

OK, so the second hole isn't in the plate, it's underneath it.

Looking at the Henry online video it's a bit of a faff but doable.

It certainly doesn't need a barrel replacement, only about 15-30mins of dis-assembly/assembly.

So, just had another email from Henry.

The reason for the new barrel is because they don't have stock of the older type mag tubes.

The new ones have a different fitting system so require a new type barrel and fitting.

I'll take my tube out and see if I can repair it, either epoxy some heatshrink (much as I have at the moement) or try and get a metal sleeve to go over it (17mm i/d)
