The video shows the "Poker Face" stage from a 22LR comp this weekend, in the wake of Storm Eunice, at ProShoot (Llanbradach, S Wales).

Challenging conditions for shooter and targets!

Check out the targets at 1min:

I had a jam into the bargain, too!

These PR22 comps can be run at any club with 50m range and facility to shoot shorter distances on that range. The course of fire is released by the GBPRA and only requires a few props (varies each comp).

They are fun and cheap. A good taster of the full bore equivalent: PRS.

Oh stuff that! Bad enough if it starting to rain when shooting your detail and you finish it. 10 out of 10 for carrying on

A classic example of enthusiasm overcoming common sense.

Considering the conditions, that was good shooting. goodjob

I think I'd be pulling the "I've got covid" excuse, though, if anybody asked me to shoot on a day like that. 5mith

"Train hard, fight easy"

By competing in tough conditions, we should have an advantage over the "indoor teams" at the UK finals.

At least, that's what we keep telling ourselves...

Besides, it's Wales; if we waited for the rain to stop, we'd never do any shooting.

I hope nobody's shots got blown over the back-stop; I live down the other side of that hill!

Looks like quite a mild day in Wales to be fair! troutslapping

I'm thinking of entering a practical match at that site in July but I must admit if the conditions were like that I doubt i'd show up! :run:

I remember it well.
I remember one shoot in particular at Battle Hill laying on a grassy knoll with the rain sheeting down soaked to the skin next to Adam (Dromia). We were the only two on the firing point everyone else had packed up but he refused to stop shooting until he had shot at 600 yards. Happy days.
