If you are making it or modifying it, repairing it or restoring it, it goes in here.

Turning targets (club level system)

#1 Post by 1066 »

Another project just completed - I made up this turning target system for my local 25 yard indoor club:

That is fantastic. The club is lucky to have somebody with your skill able to make stuff like this. Any idea of the cost in parts?

Thank you chaps - and yes, thank you Derek, I'll keep you in the loop. I'm going to give it an fitting on Thursday - just to see exactly what height we need to make the target boards etc.

Used them for the first time this morning - all worked perfectly.

One of the Kent competitions we shoot is ... 5 shots in 150 sec... 5 shots in 20 secs .... 5 shots in 10 secs........shot twice for 300 points. (Half the ISSF standard handgun course) (on PL14 targets at 20 yds)

We also shoot the ISSF duelling on PL12's at 20 yds.. 7 sec away.. 3 secs face..X 5 times. This was shot this morning with my .32 patriot muzzle loading pistol.

Very nice. two local clubs have just done turning targets. one has revamped an old air operated system and the other has done an electric one.
far better than using a whistle and a stopwatch :-)
