Apparently the powers-that-be knew all along that a mask would not protect from Covid 19 as the weave is too open to stop something as small as a virus. Remember in the beginning, they were all saying that here was no need to wear masks? Then suddenly there was. According to one source that Security Council asked them to participate in a sociological experiment in altering human behaviour. https://www.bitchute.com/embed/klZLS4nc ... 5mRFBMdUMM Check this out, it is long, but so very shocking that it is worth the time.

According to the BBC’s ‘More or Less’ program which looks at the statistics behind various claims, there is about 20% reduction in the risk of getting Covid if you wear a mask. Good enough for me.

There is substantial real world evidence that a properly worn sear belt will reduce the risks of major injuries to the wearer in the event of a road accident. There is no evidence that the wearing of a seat belt reduces the risk of injury to another road user.
The reverse is true for wearing a mask, virtually no reduced risk of covid for the wearer but should the wearer be infectious a reduced risk of them infecting others in the very immediate vicinity if indoors.
However my point is that having done a lateral flow test before going to social gathering and testing negative for covid and having no symptoms at all NHS officialdom still treats you as potential covid carrier.
I will wear a mask where legally required, not otherwise because I believe my best protection from serious illness is to be fully vaccinated (plus the flu jab) not a simple piece of cloth over my nose and mouth.

Many do think their masks are PPE which is why they wear them at all times including when driving alone or walking in the open in uncrowded areas.

As for seatbelts ... my Land Rover doesn't have any. A jabbering tool on his mobile hit me head on in his Land Rover (not) Discovery. His car disintegrated. I went through a hedge. He was carted off to the hospital with concussion. I was fine - those big ol' Landy steering wheels act like a huge catchers mitt.
