I have been asked to dispose of an Alfa Proj Brno .357 muzzle loading revolver. It comes with a spare cylinder, loading kit, a few hundred projectiles and is un-fired. It was collect from Alan Westlake and taken home never to be used and needs to go now and the owner nor I have any views on value.

So what is an un-fired M3531 worth please?

I paid £950 for a 6" Alfa with spare cylinder - This was in very good condition but not new. My pistol was the "Target" version, cased, with adjustable target grips also standard wood grips and rubber grips.

A shooting mate recently paid £1,200 for a new 6" Alfa with only one cylinder (Spare cylinders are, I believe, about £300)

Got to be the thick end of a grand. I'd give it cabinet space all day long! Current project list is just to big...

Alan has chopped and changed a bit - The early .357 M/L revolvers were Taurus based (chopped down LBR's) Then he went to Armscor revolvers. The current revolver used is the Alfa proj.

That's a surprise. A guy in our club sold one recently, I'll ask him.

Do you know what length barrel that is David?
At a guess looks like a 2.5 inch?
