BSA MLE/CLLE information required

I got a BSA MLE mk1*? / CLLE at the end of last year and am trying to fathom out some of the markings and history. Am I right to assume that it was converted to a CLLE post 1907?
It appears to be a commercial sold rifle which at some point has had a Parkerifling .22LR conversion. Is there some archive that is likely to have serial numbers and dates, my newly acquired Skennerton book doesn't cover non military numbers, which is a gutter as its an amazing book. I also have struggled to identify the meaning of some of the marks (ones show are around the knox).
