Top font; as said, top logo looks like could be more for shotguns. Bottom log looks a bit arts & crafts. I tried Googling "gunsmith shop logo" but it's all macho American stuff!

I prefer the top one, but the colours in the second do catch the eye... perhaps bring some colour to the top one?

The first one caught my eye, definitely has a classy look about it!

Neither of them.

As has been stated the first one says shotguns to the exclusion of firearms and shooting, if that is your market then fine. However it does look surprisingly familiar to some other gun shop's logos.

The second one is better as it doesn't say firearms visually so the word gun smith is unconfused with the game image of the first one.

On the basis of the first one I'd be happy to consider you for shotguns but would look else where for my sporting rifles and would definately think my historic rifle and pistol collection would not be approriate for you.

If it is an either or rather than back to the drawing board then the second one is best at reflecting an all firearm expertise even although it has a new age traveller feel to it.

Simple, keep the top one but get rid of the illustration. The font is classy & says all it has to.

The first one suggests you are a shotgun / game shooting oriented, which you maybe, and not catering for the target shooting crowd.

I'd have the font and layout of the first, with the logo of the second.

No need too stand out too much on a business card. Your reputation speaks louder than any combination of colour.

The extra colours in the second add something ... the first is just plain and does not catch the eye.

On a Nautical point - the Red should be on the left and Green on the .

Also try it with other fonts and see if it changes the perception.

Neither - stick to the Shooting Shed. Your customers obviously won't know the difference. 5mith
